Welcome to the Coleg Cambria Chaplaincy Website

  • Want to chat?

Well then you can speak to one of our chaplains. Chaplains are available to all students and staff, whether they consider themselves to have a faith or none.

We are here to listen to you, support you, and pray with you if you wish.

  • Need a place to pray, or be quiet, or reflect?

Then we have Chaplaincy Rooms both at Deeside (near Main Reception) and Yale (in Student Services). These are places where you can pray or simply be quiet.

Washing facilities are also available at Yale.

  • Need some spiritual support? Questions about God? Questions about Religion?

Chaplains are happy to listen to you and talk about the Big Questions. That’s what we’re here for. We can put you in touch with a local minister/place of worship from your faith or denomination. We also facilitate and support student groups where you can meet people asking similar questions.

  • Want to meet others from your faith or asking similar questions?

Chaplains are here to facilitate and support student groups around faith, belief and the big questions, so if you’re interested in meeting people who are asking similar questions or share your faith please get in contact with us or look at the groups section of this website.

  • What else we do…

We organise events throughout the year and help with projects.

If you click here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUgxiV307fg&feature=youtu.be  you will see a film produced by Coleg Cambria students looking at Student Views on Faith, Beliefs and Interfaith Services. Information about these events are on our website where there is also a regular reflection spot called Tybed on our website.

  • Would like to contact us…

Then you can email the team on chaplaincy@cambria.ac.uk, visit student services at your site, or look at our team section and email a chaplain personally. It’d be lovely to meet you.
