Y Grawys yng Nglannau Dyfrdwy / Lent at Deeside

Penderfynodd y Gaplaniaeth y dylem wneud rhywbeth gwahanol ar gyfer y Grawys. Yn hytrach nag ymwrthod â rhywbeth, penderfynwyd y byddem yn gwneud gweithred garedig naill, neu’n rhoi rhywbeth, naill ai ar lafar neu mewn gweithred i aelod o’r teulu, ffrind neu gymydog efallai . Ysgrifennodd y myfyrwyr ar wahanol fathau a lliwiau o ddail a rhoi’r rhain ar goeden yn y gaplaniaeth.  Ymgymerodd rhai o’r myfyrwyr hefyd â’r her o ateb croesair y Grawys a rhoddwyd wy Pasg iddynt yn wobr am gymryd rhan.  Bu syniad y goeden a’r syniad o weithio, yn llwyddiannus iawn a diolch i bawb a gyfrannodd neu a gymerodd ran.

The Chaplaincy decided that we should do something different for Lent. Instead of giving up something we came up with the idea of giving or doing a kind deed either in words or actions for perhaps a family member, friend or neighbour. The students wrote on various types and colours of leaves and put these on a tree in the chaplaincy area. Some students also undertook the challenge of doing a Lenten crossword and were given an Easter Egg as a prize for their participation. The tree and the idea worked well and thank you to everybody who contributed or participated.
