Llongyfarchiadau i Bobby Williams, a enillodd wobr ‘Dysgwr y Flwyddyn’, yn y seremoni Gwobrau Amrywiaeth Sector Addysg Bellach gyntaf erioed a gafodd ei chynnal yn Birmingham 15 Tachwedd. Enillodd y wobr hon am ei Ffair Barch wych a gynhaliwyd ar safle Iâl y llynedd. Daeth nifer o sefydliadau allanol a mewnol i’r ffair, gan hyrwyddo parch ac i addysgu myfyrwyr am yr amrywiaeth o nodweddion gwarchodedig.  Bu’r Gaplaniaeth yn helpu drwy drefnu sesiynau holi ac ateb gyda phobl o wahanol ffydd, sgwrs am Islam a stondin heddwch gwneud mala.  Ysbrydolodd y Ffair Barch nifer o fyfyrwyr eraill i drefnu digwyddiadau tebyg ac mae’r gaplaniaeth ar fin cynnal sesiwn holi ac ateb arall.

Congratulations to Bobby Williams, who won the ‘Learner of the Year’ award, at the very first FE Sector Diversity Awards held in Birmingham on 15th November. He won this award for his fantastic Respect Fair held at the Yale site last year. It involved several external and internal organisations coming in to promote respect and educate students on a range of protected characteristics. The Chaplaincy helped by organising a Q&A with people of different faiths, a talk on Islam and a peace mala making stall. The Respect Fair inspired many other students to organise similar events and the chaplaincy is about to have another Q&A.
