Y Pasg yng Ngholeg Cambria / Easter at Coleg Cambria

I nodi’r Pasg, rhoddodd y caplaniaid wyau Pasg bach ystyrlon i’r myfyrwyr.  Roedd y rhain yn wyau wedi’u gwneud o siocled Masnach Deg ac roedd llyfryn bychan gyda phob wy yn dweud Stori’r Pasg. Cymerodd myfyrwyr Iâl, Ffordd y Bers a Glannau Dyfrdwy ran mewn Arolwg Pasg hefyd.  Gofynnodd yr arolwg nifer o gwestiynau ar thema’r Pasg, gan gynnwys ‘yn eich barn chi, pa un yw’r wy Pasg mwyaf blasus?’  Daeth wy Crème i’r brig ar ddau safle, gan guro Lindt o drwch blewyn.  Roedd cwestiynau eraill yn gofyn ‘Pam ein bod ni’n cael wyau Pasg ar yr adeg hon?’ Ymysg yr atebion a gafwyd oedd ‘fel darlun o fywyd newydd,’ ‘Cynrychioli’r garreg ar y bedd lle gosodwyd yr Iesu marw,’ ‘atgyfodiad,’ a ‘chylch bywyd’. Roedd yn hynod ddiddorol gweld beth roedd y myfyrwyr yn ei wybod ac yn ei feddwl am y Pasg a faint sy’n ystyried bod y Pasg yn amser arbennig i Gristnogion wrth iddynt gofio am faddeuant a chariad Duw.

To mark Easter, Chaplains gave away small Meaningful Easter eggs. These were eggs made from Fairtrade chocolate and came with a small booklet recounting the Easter Story. Also at Yale, Bersham Road and Deeside students took part in an Easter Survey. This survey asked many questions around the Easter theme including ‘in your opinion, what is the most delicious Easter egg?’ Crème egg came out on top at two campuses, narrowly beating Lindt. Other questions included ‘Why do we have Easter eggs at this time?’ Answers included ‘as a picture of new life,’  ‘Represents the stone in the tomb covered by the stone where Jesus died,’ ‘resurrection,’ and ‘circle of life.’ It was really interesting to see what students know and think about Easter and how many see Easter as a special time for Christians as they remember God’s forgiveness and love.
