Ar 1 Mawrth 2016, cynhaliodd y Gaplaniaeth a’r Undeb Cristnogol stondin Grawys ar gampws Iâl. Cafodd y stondin ei gosod y tu allan i’r ffreutur. Roedd bwrdd arni gyda’r cwestiwn, “Beth fyddech chi’n rhoi gorau iddo petaech yn gallu (ar gyfer y Grawys).” Roedd croeso i’r staff a’r myfyrwyr oedd yn cerdded heibio i’r stondin ateb y cwestiwn hwn drwy ysgrifennu eu hateb ar nodiadau post-it a’i osod ar y bwrdd gyda’r cwestiwn. Roedd nifer o eitemau ar y stondin hefyd fel syniadau beth allai’r myfyrwyr a’r staff roi’r gorau iddynt. Roed yr eitemau hyn yn cynnwys poteli alcohol (gan awgrymu y gallent roi’r gorau i alcohol) a bar o siocled (gan awgrymu y gallent roi’r gorau i siocled). Rhoddwyd lolipops hefyd i fyfyrwyr a staff, os oeddent yn dymuno’u cael. Pwrpas y stondin oedd tynnu sylw staff a myfyrwyr at y Grawys ac roeddem hefyd yn esbonio iddynt beth yw’r Grawys, a’i bwrpas. Cafwyd lleoliad da i’r stondin a chawsom ymateb da hefyd. Cawsom lawer o atebion a llawer o help gan Dîm y Gaplaniaeth, Yr Undeb Cristnogol a Grŵp Gweddi’r Staff. Diolch i bawb a fu’n helpu ac yn cymryd rhan.

On the 1st March 2016, the Chaplaincy and Christian Union at the Yale campus held a stall for Lent. The stall was set up outside the canteen. The stall included a board with the question, “What would you give up if you could (for Lent).” Staff and students who walked past the stall were welcome to answer this question by writing their reply on a post-it note and putting it on the board with the question. The stall also included items, which were ideas to students and staff on what they could give up. The items included alcohol bottles (suggesting one could give up alcohol) and a chocolate bar (suggesting that one could give up chocolate). Lollipops were also handed out to students and staff, if they wanted one. The point of the stall was to make staff and students, aware of Lent in which we would also explain to them what Lent is and its purpose. The stall went well and a good location was used, in which we received a lot of replies and we received a lot of help, from the Chaplaincy Team, Christian Union and the Staff Prayer Group.
Thank you to everyone who helped out and took part.
