Buodd  y Gaplaniaeth wrthi’n dathlu Dydd Gŵyl Dewi ar Fawrth y 1af. Yng Nglannau Dyfrdwy gadawodd Y Barchedig Sally Baird taflenni yn holi  wrth fyfyrwyr ‘beth yw’r pethau bychain sy’n gwneud gwahaniaeth yn eich bywyd?’ Roedd yna nifer o atebion, gan gynnwys prydau parod, tywydd braf a chamu ar fws cynnes ar ôl bod allan yn y glaw a’r gwynt. Yn Iâl ymunodd y Gaplaniaeth â Menter Iaith Maelor i ofyn wrth fyfyrwyr ‘beth yw’r pethau bychain rydych chi’n eu gwneud i wneud gwahaniaeth?’ Cafwyd atebion yn y Gymraeg a’r Saesneg, gyda nifer o fyfyrwyr yn dweud eu bod yn gwneud gwahaniaeth trwy’r celfyddydau gan gynnwys canu, creu ffilmiau a dawnsio. Roedd nifer hefyd wedi sôn bod gwenu, bod yn bositif a bod yn rhan o gyngor campws y coleg yn ffyrdd o wneud gwahaniaeth. Ysbrydolwyd y ddau weithgaredd gan ddywediad enwog Dewi Sant, ‘Gwnewch y pethau bychain’.

On 1st March the Chaplaincy celebrated St David’s Day. At Deeside Rev. Sally Baird left leaflets asking students ‘what are the little things that make a difference in your life?’ There were several responses including takeaway, nice weather and getting on a warm bus after being out in the wind and rain. At Yale the Chaplaincy teamed up with Menter Iaith Maelor to ask ‘what little things are you doing to make a difference?’  There were responses in Welsh and English with many students saying they were making a difference through the arts including singing, making movies, and dancing. They also said smiling, being positive and being part of the college campus council were ways they were making a difference. Both of these activities were inspired by St David’s famous saying ‘Do the little things.’
