Holi ac Ateb Ynghylch Crefydd gyda gwahaniaeth – 15 Tachwedd 2017

Bob mis Tachwedd, mae’r Gaplaniaeth yn ceisio nodi Wythnos Rhyng-ffydd trwy gynnal sesiwn Holi ac Ateb gyda phobl o wahanol gredoau a chredoau.  Ond eleni, defnyddiwyd trefn gwibfachu ar gyfer y panel!  Roedd gan fyfyrwyr 5 munud i ofyn cwestiynau i bob ymgynghorydd ffydd.  Cwestiynau a oedd yn amrywio o ‘Ba Dduw rydych chi’n credu ynddo?’ a ‘Beth allwch chi ei fwyta?’, i ‘Beth yw safbwynt eich crefydd chi ynglŷn â phriodasau rhyng-ffydd?’  Roedd myfyrwyr hyd yn oed yn gallu gofyn i gynghorwyr ffydd am eu teithiau ffydd eu hunain a darganfod pam eu bod credu’r hyn roeddent yn ei gredu.  Ar ddiwedd 5 munud, symudodd yr ymgynghorwyr ffydd i’r grŵp nesaf o fyfyrwyr.  Wedyn roedd yn rhaid i fyfyrwyr roi adborth am yr hyn roeddent wedi’i ddysgu i’r grŵp.  Daeth dros 35 o fyfyrwyr i’r ddwy sesiwn holi ac ateb a mwyhaodd pawb eu hunain.  Roedd ganddynt ddiddordeb mewn cynnal sesiwn arall yn y Flwyddyn Newydd. (Cyn y sesiwn holi ac ateb, bu’r ymgynghorwyr yn ymweld â’n Grŵp bach Rhyng-ffydd y Myfyrwyr, lle cawsant gyfle i sgwrsio gyda’i gilydd a dysgu rhagor am grefyddau ei gilydd hefyd.)

Religion Q&A with a difference –

15 November 2017

Every November the Chaplaincy tries to mark Inter Faith Week by having a Q&A with people of different faiths and beliefs.  This year however we swapped the panel format for a speed-dating format!  Students had 5mins with each faith advisor asking them questions ranging from what God do you believe in and what can you eat, to what does your religion say about interfaith marriage.  Students were even able to ask faith advisors about their own faith journeys and discover why they believe what they believe.  Once the 5mins were up the faith advisors moved to the next group of students.  Afterwards students had to feedback what they had learnt to the group.  The two Q&A’s were attended by over 35 students and were enjoyed by all and there is interest to do it again in the New Year.  (Also, before the Q&A’s our faith advisors popped in to visit our small student Interfaith Group, they were able to chat together and learn more about each other’s religions.)
